Schedules decide when the work flies.
A Schedule is a separate timetable for a saved Letterflow. Deliver at a chosen time or on a repeating cadence, even while your dashboard is closed.
Choose a cadence
Once
Set a Run At time, or leave it blank to fire when activated. The form labels times in UTC; the schedule list uses your display timezone.
Repeat
Enable Repeat in the Once form, choose up to ten deliveries, and set the pause between runs. The pause must meet your plan's minimum interval.
Cron
Use five fields: minute, hour, day of month, month, and weekday. Cron frequency is checked against the same minimum interval as repeats.
| Expression | Delivery time (UTC) |
|---|---|
*/10 * * * * | Every ten minutes |
0 9 * * 1-5 | Weekdays at 09:00 |
0 0 * * * | Every day at midnight |
Room on the timetable
20 saved schedules per account
The same default cap applies to every plan. Active, paused, and completed schedules all count, across Letterflow targets. Delete an old schedule to make room; you can still edit existing schedules at the cap.
Tinkerer has a ten-minute minimum interval; Aspiring and Coder have a one-minute minimum. A shorter interval does not create more request quota: all schedules share the same rolling hourly allowance as manual and API runs.
When a delivery has to wait
Quota or capacity is busy
Enable both queuing preferences in Settings to let scheduled occurrences join the account queue. Scheduled queuing is off by default. A waiting repeat does not consume an occurrence until admission; removing it skips that occurrence. Cron schedules can keep one pending occurrence or queue each observed occurrence.
Scheduled occurrences โThe target is not ready
An incomplete Letter or Letterflow, a missing dependency, or a plan restriction can pause a schedule. Fix and validate the target, then resume the schedule explicitly. Fixing it does not restart it automatically.
A schedule completing its final delivery becomes inactive. Completed schedules remain in the list until you delete them.
